Dear David | Knoxville 7 Day Shootout Film Competition
Months after the death of his wife, David prepares to move on. But when a discovery among her belongings reveals an unexpected chapter of her past, he is forced to confront the complicated legacy she left behind. Created as part of the Knoxville 7-Day Shootout film challenge, this character-driven drama explores grief, memory, and the search for closure. The film was recognized with nominations across multiple categories, including Best Film, Directing, Cinematography, Writing, Sound Design, Use of Music, and Best Actor in a Leading Role. It also earned 3rd Place in the Audience Favorite category, while its director received the Emerging Filmmaker Award.
